Koalas dwell primarily in the gum woodlands of eastern and southern Australia, preferring a climate that stays relatively temperate. These charming marsupials pass much of their life reposing in the foliage, consuming almost exclusively blue gum leaves, which are lacking nutrients and necessitate a significant amount of effort to break down. Due to
